RULES & REGULATIONS

1. ATTENDANCE & LEAVE

Leave may be considered only for a genuine medical emergency, normally 1–2 days, with a valid medical certificate.

Personal work, travel, functions or appointments are not grounds for leave.

2. MISSED CLASSES

Any missed class will be treated as missed training.

No missed class, demonstration or practical session will be repeated or rescheduled.

Only repetition/practice specifically communicated by CAPA at admission or in the official course structure will be provided.

3. PUNCTUALITY & DISCIPLINE

Students must be punctual and remain present during scheduled training hours.

Professional behaviour and following Chef instructions are mandatory.

4. UNIFORM & HYGIENE

Prescribed CAPA uniform is compulsory and must be clean and properly maintained.

Personal hygiene, food safety, clean workstations and proper clean-down are mandatory.

Serious hygiene/food-safety failure may result in assessment failure.

5. PRACTICAL TRAINING

Students must carry their personal professional kit every day.

All course raw materials are provided by CAPA as included in the course fee.

Academy equipment must be used responsibly and according to SOPs.

Sitting during active practical training is not permitted except when allowed by the Chef Instructor.

6. LUNCH & WEEKLY PARTNERS

Lunch must be taken only at your designated table; do not sit at another student's table.

Tables and production partners will be allotted weekly by CAPA.

Students are expected to work professionally with their assigned partner/table.

7. MOBILE PHONES & VIDEO RECORDING

Phones must remain on silent/vibrate during class.

Video recording is strictly prohibited during any class, including baking, pastry, fondant, chocolate, demonstrations or practical sessions.

Recording is allowed only when specifically authorised by CAPA.

All instructors must be addressed as “Chef.”

Technical guidance must be taken from the Chef Instructor, not fellow students.

Students must maintain respectful and professional conduct.

9. FEEDBACK & RECORDED VIVA

During the recorded viva, students will provide their feedback about CAPA and their training experience on video.

CAPA Faculty may also provide recorded feedback on the student's performance and professional development.
